The SuperBowl promotes laziness. There will be a few men on the field
desperately in need of a rest, while thousands will be watching
desperately in need of some exercise!
The SuperBowl supports materialism through it's many commercials, etc.
Many of the commercials are for CIGARETTES, BEER, etc.
It has been proven in laboratory test the No one in the world smokes.
Only the cigarette smokes, the person is just the sucker!
Wayne Mclaren, died of lung cancer at 51. David Millar Jr. died of
Emphysema.
Both were models for Marlboro. Janet Sackman, Lucky Strike poster girl,
lost her
voice box and part of 1 lung to cancer.
David Goerlitz, Winston poster man was disabled by a stroke in his mid
30's.
Will Thornburry, a Camel model, died of lung cancer at
56.
What does smoking Marlboro have to do with being a cowboy?
Absolutely nothing! Yet in Many Marlboro commercials smoking is
associated with being a cowboy. It may make you smell like a horse, but
you are not a cowboy.
Advertisers do the same thing with Beer. Many Beer Commercials are
associated with sports like FOOTBALL! Does drinking beer make you a
football player? No!
Yet Beer advertisers have many Football players advertise it.
But what does the Bible say about alcoholic drinks.
Hab 2:15 Woe unto him that giveth his neighbour drink, that puttest thy
bottle to him, and makest him drunken also, that thou mayest look on
their nakedness!
Pro 23:29 Who hath woe? who hath sorrow? who hath contentions? who hath
babbling? who hath wounds without cause? who hath redness of eyes?
Proverbs 23:30 They that tarry long at the wine; they that go to seek
mixed wine.
Proverbs 23:31-32 Look not thou upon the wine when it is red, when it
giveth his colour in the cup,
when it moveth itself aright. At the last it biteth like a serpent, and
stingeth like an adder.
How people have died because they were driving drunk?
How many innocent People have been killed because they got hit by a
drunk driver?
Are there not many nationally know organizations against drunk driving
like MADD.
Yet by watching the SuperBowl You are supporting this.
So what is the point of the whole Game anyway. To see a bunch of Grown
Men fight over a ball.
They all have enough money that they can each go buy their own ball!
Do something else besides watch the StupidBowl, like:
Board Games: Monopoly, Risk, Life, Clue, Battleship, etc.
Have a Bible Study.

Walk the dog, cat, etc. Avoid the Fiascos that
have happened in preceding years!
